Bubble Coral [Plerogyra]
Description
Bubble coral forms large, inflated “bubbles” that can look like clustered balloons on the reef. Divers often notice the bubbles gently pulsing as the coral feeds and breathes, creating a striking texture against the surrounding rock or sand.
