Rounded Bubblegum Coral [Plerogyra cauliformis]
Description
This coral is famous for its rounded, bubble-like lobes that resemble soft, inflated cushions. Divers may see the polyps extend from the valleys between the lobes, especially when conditions are right, creating a delicate, velvety texture against the reef.
