Sharpnose stingray [Dasyatis hastata]
Description
This stingray often appears as a low, streamlined shape moving over the bottom, sometimes partially buried in sand. Divers may notice its distinctive pointed snout as it sweeps forward, then settles or glides away with a smooth, controlled motion.
