Soft Corals (Malacalcyonacea) [Malacalcyonacea]
Description
This group includes many of the soft corals that form flexible, colorful fans, bushes, and knobby growths on reefs and rocky slopes. Underwater, divers may see them gently waving with the surge, with their polyps often appearing as tiny bumps or specks that can look especially vivid in good light.
