Salp [Thalia democratica]

Salp
Description

Divers may spot this salp as a small, translucent “blob” drifting in the water column, often with a faint, glassy look. In some areas it can appear in loose groups, and its rhythmic movement helps it glide along with the currents rather than actively swimming.
