Neotrygon vali [Neotrygon vali]
Description
In the right conditions, this stingray can be seen hovering near the substrate, occasionally shifting position as it forages. Divers often describe the experience as watching a “living shadow” glide by, with the ray’s wings sweeping steadily through the water.
