Neotrygon picta [Neotrygon picta]
Description
Often seen gliding just above sandy or muddy bottoms, this stingray uses its wings to “fly” smoothly through the water column. Divers may notice its patterned look and a calm, deliberate movement as it searches the substrate for food.
