Description
Divers may spot this rare nautilus gliding slowly along the seafloor or hovering in midwater, its spiral shell catching faint light. With tentacles extended and retracting in a calm, deliberate way, it can look almost prehistoric—especially when it pauses to “taste” the water with its sensory arms.
