Chambered Nautiluses [Nautilidae]
Description
Chambered nautiluses glide through the water with a slow, graceful motion, using their tentacles to explore and their shell chambers to help with buoyancy. Divers may spot them in deeper, clearer areas where they look like living fossils—spiraled shells and a calm, drifting presence.
