Nautiluses [Nautilida]

Nautiluses
Description

Nautiluses glide along the seafloor and open-water slopes with a slow, deliberate motion, using jet propulsion from their siphon. Divers may see their distinctive spiral shells and tentacles extending as they investigate the surroundings. Because they prefer deeper habitats, sightings are most likely on deeper dives or in regions where they occur near accessible depths.
