Hyalinoecia tecton [Hyalinoecia tecton]
Description
This species is often seen as a subtle, translucent hydroid colony that forms structured growth on the seafloor or attached to hard substrata. Divers may notice it as a delicate pattern—more architectural than fluffy—especially when it catches light from the side. It tends to blend in until you get close enough to appreciate the fine, glasslike branches.
