Eunicid Worms (Reef & Burrowing Polychaetes) [Eunicida]
Description
Eunicid worms are often seen as long, segmented predators that live in burrows or hide in rubble and crevices. Divers may spot them peeking out from holes, sometimes with a dramatic, feathery look, then retreating quickly when disturbed. In many areas they’re more noticeable at night, when they become more active.
