Annelids

Annelida

Annelids
Description

Annelids are segmented worms you’ll often spot as wriggling, burrowing residents of sandy bottoms and rocky crevices. Divers may see tube-dwelling worms anchored to hard surfaces, or feathery crowns and tentacles that filter food from the water. Some species can be surprisingly colorful, making them easy to notice even when they’re small.
