Hyalinoecia brevicornis [Hyalinoecia brevicornis]
Description
Divers may recognize this hydrozoan by its small, transparent form and the impression of short, horn-like or protruding structures. It can appear as a delicate growth attached to substrate, giving the impression of a tiny, glassy ornament in the water. In motion, it can look especially delicate as currents gently shift its shape.
