Description
Anchinothria pourtalesii is a small, bottom-dwelling fish that divers may see near rocky slopes or deeper reef edges. It tends to stay close to the seafloor, using crevices and uneven terrain as camouflage. If you watch carefully, you may notice it making short foraging movements between sheltered spots.
