Nautilus samoaensis [Nautilus samoaensis]

Description

Nautilus samoaensis can be encountered in deeper waters, where divers may see it cruising slowly along the bottom. Its coiled shell and chambered spiral are the main highlights, and when it angles toward you, the shell’s pattern and the soft, tentacled head can be surprisingly clear in low light.
