Urogymnus polylepis [Urogymnus polylepis]
Description
Look for this ray along sandy or muddy bottoms where it can blend in remarkably well. Divers often notice it when it lifts slightly off the substrate or begins a slow, deliberate glide, using its broad body to move with minimal effort.
