Moluccan roundray [Neotrygon moluccensis]
Description
Moluccan roundrays are typically encountered over sandy flats and near seagrass or reef edges where the bottom is easy to forage. Divers often notice them as subtle shapes on the sand that suddenly “wake up,” swimming away with a calm, effortless glide.
