Leyland’s roundray [Neotrygon leylandi]
Description
Leyland’s roundray is a compact stingray that often glides just above sandy or muddy bottoms. Divers may spot it cruising slowly, sometimes half-buried in the substrate, before it lifts off with a smooth, controlled sweep of its wings.
