Tawny Nurse Shark [Stegostoma tigrinum]
Description
This shark’s bold, tiger-like stripes make it stand out as it glides along reefs and sandy slopes. Divers may see it hovering near the bottom or tucked into caves and overhangs, where it uses its whisker-like barbels to locate food.
