Jinga Shrimp [Metapenaeus affinis]

Jinga Shrimp
Description

Jinga shrimp are small, fast-moving prawns that often cruise just above sandy or muddy bottoms. Divers may spot them darting away in a flash of pale bands and translucent antennae when the substrate is disturbed. At night, they can be easier to see as they become more active around the seafloor.
