Hyalinoecia stricta [Hyalinoecia stricta]
Description
Hyalinoecia stricta typically appears as slender, more upright hydroid stems that give a neat, tidy look on rocks or other surfaces. In clear water, divers can see the delicate, see-through structure and how it holds its form against the flow. With small changes in angle and light, the colony’s fine details become much more apparent.
