Birdnest Coral [Stylophora]
Description
Stylophora forms branching, nest-like colonies that can look delicate yet surprisingly robust on reef slopes. Divers often notice the coral’s fine, finger-like branches and the way it creates small hiding spots for tiny reef fish and invertebrates.
