Hood Coral [Stylophora kuehlmanni]
Description
Divers often spot this hood coral as branching growth that forms small, rounded “caps” at the tips. In clear water, its pale to tan tones can stand out against darker reef backgrounds, and it may host tiny reef dwellers tucked among the branches.
