Tubularia aurea [Tubularia aurea]
Description
Tubularia aurea is often recognized by its warm, golden tones and the tidy, upright tubes that make the colony look almost like miniature lanterns. Divers may see the polyps extend in flowing water, creating a shimmering, animated look as the colony captures food drifting past.
