Tubulariidae [Tubulariidae]
Description
Divers often spot these colonial hydrozoans as delicate, branching “tubes” or feathery stalks that rise from rocks, wrecks, or seagrass. Many species extend their feeding polyps into the water column, making them look like tiny, waving brushes in the current.
