Trapezia serenei [Trapezia serenei]
Description
This small reef crab is a classic “partner” species, often seen living among the branches of coral where it can be hard to notice at first glance. Divers may observe it peeking out from coral crevices, sometimes moving quickly when a diver approaches. Its presence is most noticeable on healthy coral heads, where it benefits from the shelter and resources the coral provides.
