Sayaensis Coral Shrimp [Stenopus sayaensis]
Description
Stenopus sayaensis is typically seen in reef habitats where it can anchor itself near coral or rocky cover. Underwater, it may look like a tiny, watchful figure—staying close to its refuge and emerging only briefly. Divers who scan crevices and coral edges carefully often spot it during slow passes over the reef.
