Red-spotted Mitten Lobster [Parribacus holthuisi]
Description
Divers may spot this lobster tucked into rocky crevices or under ledges, where it uses its camouflage to blend into the seafloor. Look for the distinctive red spotting that gives it a “freckled” look against its lighter body, especially when it shifts position and fans its antennae.
