Rabbit-ear Barnacle [Conchoderma auritum]
Description
This barnacle grows on hard surfaces like shells and rocks, forming paired, ear-like plates that can look almost sculptural underwater. Divers may see it firmly attached, with the feathery feeding appendages extended when conditions are right.
