Description
The Purple-striped Jelly is a species of jellyfish that exists primarily off the coast of California in Monterey Bay. The bell of this jellyfish species can reach 70 cm in diameter. It has purple stripes on its bell and long tentacles. During its polyp stage, it feeds on zooplankton and small fishes.
