Porcupinefish [Diodon hystrix]
Description
Porcupinefish are instantly recognizable by their spiny, “hedgehog-like” look. When threatened, they can inflate into a ball, making their body spikes stand out even more. Divers often spot them cruising slowly near reefs, where their curious, rounded faces seem to watch you back.
