Balloonfishes [Diodontidae]
Description
Balloonfishes are rounder, slower-moving fish that can look almost “puffy” as they swim. Divers may see them hovering near the reef and using their beak-like mouths to investigate hard surfaces, and they’re famous for inflating their bodies when threatened.
