Description
Eteone longa, commonly known as the Northern Paddleworm, is a species of bristle worm found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is characterized by its elongated, slender, and flat body, which can reach up to 15 cm in length. Its body is segmented and possesses parapodia, or lateral outgrowths, that aid in locomotion. The Northern Paddleworm is light brown in color, with a distinct pattern of darker brown or black marks. It typically inhabits sandy and muddy sediments in intertidal and subtidal zones.
