Manta alfredi [Manta alfredi]
Description
Manta alfredi are the classic “manta rays” divers hope to encounter—massive, elegant swimmers with long cephalic fins that frame their faces. Underwater, they often glide in slow arcs, sometimes pausing to feed or visiting cleaning stations where divers can watch them interact with smaller fish.
