Heterocarpus intermedius [Heterocarpus intermedius]
Description
This shrimp is often associated with soft-bottom environments in deeper waters, where it can be seen during slow, patient searches. Divers may notice it as a delicate, semi-translucent figure on or just above the seafloor, sometimes pausing as if it’s testing the water before continuing on.
