Gibber sea star [Pteraster gibber]
Description
Divers may recognize this sea star by its bumpy, uneven arm surface, which gives it a rough, knobbly texture. It often sits low to the bottom, using its grip to stay in place in areas with current. If you watch carefully, you may see subtle repositioning as it feeds.
