Elysia sugashimae [Elysia sugashimae]
Description
This sea slug is a classic example of a leaf-mimicking Elysia, often seen on or near algae where divers can spot it by its flattened, plant-like shape. It typically holds position close to the substrate, making it feel almost “embedded” in the habitat. With patience and good lighting, divers can observe its subtle movements as it feeds.
