Sea Slugs (Sap-Sucking Slugs) [Sacoglossa]

Sea Slugs (Sap-Sucking Slugs)
Description

Sacoglossan sea slugs are famous for feeding on algae and, in some species, even retaining chloroplasts from their food. Divers may find them slowly cruising over algae-covered rocks or seagrass, often with striking colors and patterns. Because they can be small and well-camouflaged, careful scanning of algae patches pays off.
