Elysia papillosa [Elysia papillosa]
Description
Elysia papillosa is a leaf-like sacoglossan that can be surprisingly eye-catching once you spot it. Divers may see it perched on algae, where its body shape and texture resemble a small fragment of vegetation. As it feeds, it often stays close to the same spot, making it a great subject for slow, careful observation.
