Elysia obtusa [Elysia obtusa]
Description
This leaf slug has a more rounded, “blunt” look compared with some of its relatives, which can help it stand out in a close-up scan. Divers commonly find it on algae or along rocky surfaces where it can camouflage as part of the plant-like background. With slow movements and a flattened body posture, it’s a great subject for patient, careful underwater observation.
