Elysia filicauda [Elysia filicauda]
Description
Elysia filicauda can be surprisingly distinctive for a small slug, with a slender, leaf-like body that helps it blend into its surroundings. Divers may encounter it resting on or near algae, where it stays still for long stretches before making slow, deliberate moves. Spotting one often takes a careful look at the edges of algal growth and crevices.
