Elysia diomedea [Elysia diomedea]
Description
Elysia diomedea is a delicate-looking sacoglossan sea slug that can be found on or near algae. Underwater, it may appear as a small, leaf-like creature with subtle, mottled coloration that helps it disappear into its surroundings. Divers who watch the algae closely might see it slowly “browse” as it feeds.
