Elysia brycei [Elysia brycei]
Description
Elysia brycei is typically encountered as a small, flattened sea slug with a leaf-like profile that helps it camouflage among algae. Divers often find it on or near the algae it relies on, where it can appear almost motionless until you get close. Its muted colors and slow movements make it a classic “spot-the-spot” critter for underwater photographers.
