Elysia arena [Elysia arena]
Description
This sacoglossan sea slug is often seen on algae-covered substrates, where it uses its specialized feeding to graze. Underwater, it may appear like a small piece of living plant matter, staying close to its food source. Patient divers can catch it slowly moving and “working” the algae surface.
