Elysia amuravela [Elysia amuravela]
Description
Elysia amuravela is a small, leaf-shaped sea slug that can be found on or near algae, where it uses camouflage to stay unnoticed. Divers who get a close look may see its gentle, creeping motion and the distinctive “greenish” look that comes from its unusual relationship with chloroplasts.
