Dardanus ctenodon [Dardanus ctenodon]
Description
Divers may encounter this hermit crab in areas with plenty of cover, where it uses its shell as protection while it moves between sheltered spots. Keep an eye out for quick, deliberate movements along the bottom—especially when the crab pauses to settle into a crevice.
