Dardanus balhibuon [Dardanus balhibuon]

Description

Dardanus balhibuon is a shell-carrying hermit crab that divers may spot tucked into crevices or moving slowly over the bottom. When you look closely, you can sometimes see it peeking out and adjusting its position as it forages, using its shell as both protection and a portable home.
