Cryptophialus minutus [Cryptophialus minutus]
Description
As the name suggests, this is a very small species, often seen as minute, delicate colonies clinging to substrate. Divers searching in crevices, on ledges, or around encrusting organisms may notice tiny, pale or translucent forms that become more apparent when you shine a torch across them.
