Chilean Nylon Shrimp [Heterocarpus reedi]
Description
These delicate, translucent shrimp often appear as quick, ghostlike flashes in the water column or just above the seafloor. Divers may spot them hovering near rocky bottoms or sandy patches, using their long antennae to probe the surroundings as they feed.
